Change the jumper to the same setting on your existing one this can be set for urinal Lightly wet the tip of the q tip and clean all the contacts where the batteries goes. 2 get a q tips and rubbing alcohol.

While your screwing the cover back on, at the same time see if you see a blink in front of sensor.

Also clean the tip and end of the batteries. Alkaline only if you had a battery leak inside the electronic sensor and the screen is blurry from the leakage of battery acid.

Remove the four screws in the front and clean the sensor screen with q tip and Windex. Maybe it can be the solenoid. 6 water closet. Insert the new batteries and screw cover back on.
